1. Personal information we collect
“Personal information” means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include de-identified or aggregated data. Depending on how you use the Services and where you live, we may collect:
- Contact details — name, billing/shipping address, phone, email.
- Financial & transaction data — payment method (card tokens via PCI-compliant providers), transaction details, confirmations, refunds; we do not store full card numbers.
- Account data — username, password, settings and preferences.
- Shopping & order activity — items viewed, cart/wishlist contents, purchases, returns, exchanges, cancellations and order history.
- Communications — content you send to support.
- Device & usage data — device, browser, IP address, time zone, identifiers, pages viewed and interactions.
- Inferences derived from the above to tailor the Services.
2. Sources of personal information
- Directly from you — account creation, checkout, contacting support.
- Automatically — via cookies and similar technologies when you browse the Site.
- Service providers — acting on our behalf (e.g., payment, analytics, fulfilment).
- Partners/third parties — where permitted by law.
3. How we use personal information (purposes & legal bases)
Provide, tailor & improve the Services
To perform our contract with you and deliver a secure shopping experience — including processing payments, fulfilling orders, shipping and returns, managing your account, remembering preferences, enabling reviews and improving the Services.
Marketing & advertising
To send marketing communications and show online ads (on our Site or others), including based on your activity. Where required, we rely on your consent; otherwise, on our legitimate interests. You can opt-out at any time.
Security & fraud prevention
To authenticate accounts, prevent, detect and investigate fraud, illegal or malicious activity, and secure our Services (legitimate interests and legal obligations).
Communicating with you
To provide customer support and maintain our business relationship (contract and legitimate interests).
Legal reasons
To comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests; enforce our terms and protect rights (legal obligation and legitimate interests).
4. How we disclose personal information
We share information for the purposes above, subject to this Policy:
- Shopify (store platform, hosting, consent, payments orchestration).

- Affiliates within our corporate group.
- With your direction or consent — e.g., social widgets or specific shipments.
- Business transactions & legal — mergers, insolvency, compliance with lawful requests, enforcing terms and protecting rights.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not permit processors to use your data for their own marketing without your consent.
5. International transfers
We may transfer, store and process personal information outside your country (including the EU/EEA, UK, Canada and the United States). Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, with supplementary safeguards. Shopify Inc. is based in Canada, which the UK Government recognises as providing adequate protection for personal data transferred from the UK.
6. Security & retention
No security measures are perfect, but we use appropriate technical and organisational measures (TLS encryption in transit, access controls, vendor due diligence). Card data is handled by PCI-DSS-compliant providers; we do not store full card numbers.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described and to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Typical examples:
- Orders & invoices: 6–7 years (tax/accounting laws).

- Marketing preferences: until you withdraw consent or object.
- Cookies/IDs: per lifespan shown in our Cookie Policy and your consent settings.
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, delete, correct, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent and request portability. You can also manage marketing emails via the unsubscribe link. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests and, where allowed, accept requests via an authorised agent with proof of authorisation.
